Known as ‘the Dance Holiday Company’, Holiday & Dance have more than 30 years of experience providing dance holidays, led no less by a former amateur and professional championship competitor, Philip Wylie. Whether you’re a competitive dancer or a social dancer just starting out, they’re renowned for delivering first class teaching and coaching in an enjoyable way in great venues with ‘dazzling’ entertainment.
Music and Dance for Everyone
With live and recorded music, masterclasses and workshops are taught by the worlds best dancers in Cabaret, Ballroom and Latin style dancing running Learn to Improve and Learn to Dance sessions (I can hear that ‘Strictly’ music ringing in my ears now).
No single supplement breaks available on a small selection of holidays
Dance holidays have something for everyone, (they don’t put people into boxes, but guide you to your choice of dance holidays) Here are their guidelines:
- Social Dancers – includes those that dance occasionally, at dinner dances and on holidays through to those who dance for a hobby perhaps at classes and medal winning dances.
- Competitive Dancers – from relatively inexperienced to the very experienced

SOLOS WHO CAN DANCE
Holiday & Dance welcome solos and try to advise which holidays such as the English Rivera International Dance Festival and their Christmas House Dance Party, are more likely to have Solos booking. They also work to ensure friendly evening dance sessions, whether single or not.
They also run special Solo Holidays with experienced social dance hosts and whenever possible, some extra partners and Solos Social House Dance Parties.
SOLOS WHO CAN’T DANCE AT ALL (YET!)
Part of their dance programme includes ‘Learn to Dance’ holiday packages aimed at those who can’t dance, they’re also reviewing their range of ‘Learn to Dance in a Day’ events normally held on Saturdays in Surrey.
Holiday & Dance signpost new starters and keen experienced dancers on to the British Dance Council and encourage people to look for a list of dance teachers in their area.
