Solo & Spontaneous? Try Eurostar Snap
PARIS, LILLE, BRUSSELS ROTTERDAM, AMSTERDAM: THE EUROSTAR ‘SNAP ‘
Eurostar’s latest ongoing offer – cheap last-minute ‘Snap’ fares for spontaneous solo trips
Travelling solo and feeling spontaneous? Eurostar Snap can offer fares up to 50% cheaper, with tickets currently available from £40. The catch? You choose your destination and date, but Eurostar chooses your train time – confirmed around 49 hours before departure.
It’s ideal if you’re flexible and don’t mind a little uncertainty, but Snap fares are non-refundable and non-changeable, so make sure you can work with whatever time you’re given. You can book up to two weeks ahead for London routes, or eight days for other routes, and bookings close the day before travel.
For solo travellers, it could be a great way to make a spontaneous city break more affordable – especially if you’re happy to take a chance on the timing. Check current Snap fares and see where you could go.
And if you’re travelling to St Pancras from elsewhere in the UK, don’t forget to look at our train travel tips for single travellers – there are ways to keep the cost of getting to the station down too, so you’ve got more to spend on the trip itself.
